Change your PC to morning alarm

Now this is specially for the ones who are too lazy to get up even when the trust cellphone dies screeching its lungs out.
Its pretty simple

Creating the playlist
create a playlist of your favourite songs in Winamp, WMP or any other player. Export the playlist as a M3U playlist. M3U is generally accepted by almost every player.

Triggering the alarm
point to start> programs >accessories > system tools >scheduled tasks
Create a new task and choose program as windows media player or winamp (May work with others too but I haven't tried anything else)
Choose "daily", Enter the time and choose "every day" at next screen.
It would now ask for password (leave blank in case you don't have one)
Right click on the newly created task and check the "run only if logged in" check box. In the properties. Append the path to the playlist you created in the "run" text box. "D:\windows media player\wmplayer.exe" K:\Playlists\smoothies.m3u
It should now look like the text inside quotes is my WMP's path. It may vary for you. The text after WMP's path is the one to the playlist.
Click OK and you're done.

Go sleep!

Facebook Shutting Down on 15th of March, 2012

“Facebook Shutting Down” is a rumour in the air from the last few months. According to the people it is just a rumour, but many considered it as true. Some people said that on 15th of March, 2011 facebook ended. However, facebook is still available.

But in this Mark Zuckerberg, a developer of facebook announced is a press conference that facebook will end on 15th of March, 2012. He said that management of the facebook becomes hectic and stressful for him and he doesn’t get time for himself.

In the conference he told that facebook is now out of his control and his management is become a tension for him, he added that facebook ruined his life. The conference was outside his office Palo Alto and said that he wants to get out of this madness.

Mark Zuckerberg said that he is announcing it before a year so that people changed their habits, and manage their life without facebook. People have now a time of year to maintain themselves without it and to save their pictures and important data from the facebook to anywhere else.

After 15th of March, 2012 facebook is no more available to use and its data is not accessible then because he will not activate facebook after 15th March. His decision of ending facebook is also very difficult for him, but its finalized to shut down it. Facebook is a million dollars business for him he said money is not important for him he now just wants to live a comfort life.

It also is very upsetting decision of Mark for the users of facebook and they want to sign petition about facebook shutting down.

General Computer Tips : How to Increase Internet Connection Speed

Sending message using bluetooth - No accepting needed!

a2z-online.blogspot.com
This isn't really a hack or a cheat or anything, just a way to send a "message" to a Bluetooth enabled phone.
I read about this way in an article on Norwegian so I decided to translate it and post it here. Here it goes:

Items needed:
A phone with Bluetooth connection.

Step 1: Go to "Contacts" on your phone
Step 2: Click on "New Contact"
Step 3: In the number section write whatever you want. I'm going to use 1337 as an example.
Step 4: In the name section write your message. I'm going to use "Bluejacked!" as an example.
Step 5: Now save this contact.
Step 6: Now you go on "Contacts" and browse the contact that you just made.
Step 7: Click on it, and choose "Send with Bluetooth" or something like that.
Step 8: Choose your target and click "Send"

Speed up your net by 20%

a2z-online.blogspot.com
Available for users only
Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc

You can get it back:

Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes. This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy >
Computer Configuration >
Administrative Templates >
Network >
QOS Packet Scheduler >
Then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not
Configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default,
the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth
of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, and then set it to ZERO.
This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default
20%. It works on Win 2000 as well.

Create One-Click Shutdown and Reboot Shortcuts

First, create a shortcut on your desktop by right-clicking on the desktop, choosing New, and then choosing Shortcut. The Create Shortcut Wizard appears. In the box asking for the location of the shortcut, type shutdown. After you create the shortcut, double-clicking on it will shut down your PC.

But you can do much more with a shutdown shortcut than merely shut down your PC. You can add any combination of several switches to do extra duty, like this:

shutdown -r -t 01 -c "Rebooting your PC"

Double-clicking on that shortcut will reboot your PC after a one-second delay and display the message "Rebooting your PC." The shutdown command includes a variety of switches you can use to customize it. Table 1-3 lists all of them and describes their use.

I use this technique to create two shutdown shortcuts on my desktop—one for turning off my PC, and one for rebooting. Here are the ones I use:

shutdown -s -t 03 -c "Bye Bye m8!"

shutdown -r -t 03 -c "Ill be back m8 ;)!"

Switch

What it does

-s

Shuts down the PC.

-l

Logs off the current user.

-t nn

Indicates the duration of delay, in seconds, before performing the action.

-c "messagetext"

Displays a message in the System Shutdown window. A maximum of 127 characters can be used. The message must be enclosed in quotation marks.

-f

Forces any running applications to shut down.

-r

Reboots the PC.
